St Asaph Cathedral

Welcome to the historic city of St Asaph, a small city found in the centre of North Wales, an ideal location for visitors and holiday makers to explore the surrounding mountain and local attractions.

St Asaph Coats of Arms

St Asaph lies between Denbigh and the coatal resort of Rhyl and is in an ideal central location to explore the North Wales coastal region, Snowdonia and the Clwyd Valley. There are many leisure interests in and around St Asaph including walking, horse riding, fishing and golf.

St Asaph's main historical feature is that it has the smallest cathedral in Britain. St Kentigern originally built the church in AD560 and left it to his successor Asaph - since that time the cathedral has been dedicated to St Asaph.
