Views of Betws-Y-Coed

Betws-Y-Coed is one of the most popular villages in North Wales, set in Snowdonia National Park surrounded by many mountains and valleys.

Snowdon is the highest peak at 3560 ft but there are thirteen other peaks which reach 3000ft plus.

Therefore this is an ideal location for outdoor activities with many shops in the village catering for outdoor needs with also many hotels, B&B's and camp sites to accommodate the tourists.

Betws-Y-Coed is steeped in history and tradition; geologically old, with some of the most ancient rocks in the world; old in culture, with traditions in poetry and music that may date back to the Bronze Age; and old in language, for the Welsh you will still hear spoken by the locals.
