Anheddau Outdoors - Charity Event Abseiling down the Marquess of Anglesey's Column

Introduction - Anheddau is a non-profit making local charity working with individuals with support needs. Based in Bangor, North Wales they have gained a reputation for providing support of the highest quality to many individuals. Anheddau Outdoors is a project within the charity which began in 1995 providing opportunities for individuals to experience climbing, abseiling, mountain walking, cycling and other outdoors activities. This event involves anybody interested in a challenge. Three instructors Peter Bingham, Paul Gasson and Glenda Huxter helped people realise an ambition whilst also making much money for this worthwhile cause.

Paul Gasson, left, says 'This event takes place the 1st saturday in September every year and anybody is welcome to come and join in. Everybody has a great day plus there is some spectacular views from the top of the column'. Below are some photographs showing Peter Bingham abseiling down the column.
